HOW THE PLATFORM WAS BORN
In over 22 years of experience as a specialized consulting firm in sales and distribution channel management and value-added sales, we have implemented more than 160 Structured Channel Programs.
As our main product in the portfolio, the development of Programs requires at least 12 months of project development, as it involves 3 phases: Assessment, Plan, and Implementation. Generally, when we reach the implementation phase, our clients often ask us if we have or can recommend a system to digitize everything that has been designed—in terms of methodology, processes, KPIs, and other resources—and allow for scalability.
Based on the identification of this opportunity, in 2010 Roccato designed a digital platform, which was named Portal do Canal. The solution design has been refined over the years and has resulted in the current platform for managing the manufacturer ecosystem, encompassing all links in the chain: producers, distributors, channels, and end customers.
With the growing adoption of Generative AI, Roccato identified that adding functionalities with multi-agent AI-Gen could further enrich the platform, and in 2023 he went to the source, enrolling in a specialization at MIT in "AI Applied to Business". In his final project, he presented his thesis for the Canal Portal in person to the MIT panel, which was approved as a global innovation.

Since our mission is to share knowledge, the Canal® Portal offers differentiated training and certification resources, whether for access to the Training and Certification Program of one of the Group's companies, Channels' University, or for publishing and making available specific courses for your company.

Imagine managing your entire value chain in one place? The Channel Portal® provides specific dashboards for each link in the chain (manufacturer, distributors, and channels) and further organized by user profile.
For example, users in an indirect channel environment, such as a reseller, integrator, or installer, will each have assigned profiles, such as: channel admin, owner/manager, sales team, technical team, and admin/finance.
According to their profile, each of them, in the case of a dashboard available for the profile, will be able to view the typical KPIs (indicators) for their position/function, which will allow for monitoring and action.

A PLATFORM TO CALL YOUR OWN!





When you subscribe to Portal do Canal®, one of the first setup activities our team of channel consultants will do with you is to request your company's visual identity guide, as well as your logo and favicon.
The guide will identify the color palette that will be applied to your exclusive area, and the Canal® Portal will be automatically harmonized, acquiring your visual identity.
Also as part of the customization, you will define how you want to create the access address (URL), which could be COMPANYNAME.channelportal.com or PROGRAMNAME.channelportal.com, for example.
In addition, the login screen will also be personalized, with the option to set the login background image, similar to the image carousel on the home screen, after logging in.
Everything is done with the support of the setup team, but you can also make changes independently at any time after you take over the operation of your dedicated area.
